James: “One of the most common questions we get asked from the general public is ‘have the looping cords been replaced?’ These are the looping cords here, which are on the hammer flange and attached to the butt string. We replace all of those on all our imported pianos from Japan. It is the most important part of the hammer action as well because it helps with repetition. We will replace every single flange and loop on every piano.”
